BBDO Minneapolis was looking for a director savvy with matchcuts, that embodied a playful style, and could extrapolate a colorful compelling story within a fast-paced, first-person POV experience. They came to the right place. The attention to detail in achieving the Vaporwave lighting in various indoor and outdoor scenes was something Archer obsessed over. In a 3 day production and 2 days of shooting, all the scenes were crafted in studio, with some movie magic. Favorite part - the singing flytrap cameo.
